EPM Save Comment

Hello All,

I am facing problem in epm save comment.

>> If i sent a single (one) comment it is showing 32 records to send. why showing like this. I sent only one comment but showing more while sending.

>> After sending comment if I refresh it will be disappear from the column.

EPM !0.1 version with bw back end.

Hi Madhu,

Check you EPM options, there is a setting that default comments is ...

so if you save comment it will save all ... in your sheet, change that to nothing, then it will only send what you typed.

under user options, others tab.

If the comment disappears it means that your intersection is not correct, make sure you specify all the dimensions in your save comment formula.

Thanks for your right answer..working fine now.

I have one more question on security.

I want to restrict the particular user to access only particular entity. how to restrict it.

For example I have a user TEST001 he has to access only Entity 101 not other entities. Please advise me

Hi Madhu,

You need to secure the model with at least entity as one of the secure dimensions.

then you create DAP, data access profile to manage different teams or users access.

Play around with that, and ask more questions if you get stuck.
