Creating formula in Layout Designer

I need to know how can I create formula in layout designer. I need positive Debit mentioned in image using ABS() function.

I am very new to this application. Any help would be highly appreciated.

Hi

follow these steps:

1. Edit the PLD.

2. Add a new field (formula).

3. Select the formula field properties. In content Tab Formula Editor --> Operation --> Abs (number).

4. Put this field in the right place.

Hello.. Thanks for your response.

Following your steps..

The problem is : On selecting Add Field (Formula) my pointer just showing me 'Root a' sign on clicking anywhere nothing happening

Hi

to add a new field do the next:

1. Go to the tool bar and click on .

2. The mouse appears with this symbol in the bottom.

3. Click where you want to put the field and resize it.
