Difference between SAP PP and PPPI

Dear SAP Gurus,

1. As a sap pp functional consultant (support project) in discrete manufacturing scenario or in a process manufacturing scenario, Is there any difference in their project?

1. If I am wrong please correct me, as a support consultant you have daily activity like

• Solve the daily ticket you receive.
• Checking reports.

If any other activity the support consultant are doing, please mention it.
