Clarification on ERP Checklist for Integration with C4C

Hi C4C Experts,

One of the steps in the integration checklist from the latest integration guide is this

"Automatic configuration of code list mapping, you will need SP

13. However, if you want to use the enhancements made in

1502, you need to install SP14."

I think it's not clearly defined which component has to be in SP13/SP14. Can anyone tell me the relevant component? Is it SAP_APPL or SAP_BASIS?

Hi Mark,

this refers to the ERP add-on CODERINT for C4C integration. This is neither SAP_APPL nor SAP_BASIS but a separate software component.

Thanks for your feedback. The checklist needs an update. Please ignore this statement and install the latest SP for the add-on as explained in chapter 1.

Hello again Hermann,

I'm sorry but I have another question regarding the component SAP_BYD 2.40.

We have downloaded and imported this software component into our PI system. However, we cannot see the product SAP BUSINESS BYDESIGN 240 that we have to link to the C4C system that we're registering in the SLD as described in section 2.2

6. Register your Cloud solution in PI, by clicking Home -> Technical Systems, and creating a technical system of type Third Party.

7. Create a corresponding business system for the Cloud solution.

8. Assign SWCV SAP BYD 2.40 under the product SAP BUSINESS BYDESIGN 240.

a. Go to System Landscape Directory -> Technical Systems.

b. Select the Cloud for Customer system and click Installed Software.

c. Select Add New Product, and add the product SAP BUSINESS BYDESIGN 240 and assign the software component version SAP BYD 2.40.

Hi Mark,

I checked our test landscape. There nothing is maintained on the "Installed Software Tab". Just skip step 8 and 9 from chapter 4.2. I will confirm with our experts and then trigger the adjustment of the integration guide.

I would also like to clarify this software component which we can't find in the ESR Content (XI Content) from the Service Marketplace.

Do you happen to know if this component is no longer required? Can we ignore this? Is there a replacement for it that we should download instead?

Hi Mark,

click this path starting from http://support.sap.com/patches:

Support Packages and Patches - S -> SAP CLOUD CUSTOMER ERP INTEGR -> SAP CLOUD CUST ERP INTEGR 2.0.

There you see all required software component versions.

The first one is the add-on you need to install in your ERP system.

The others are PI content you need to install on your PI system. The component you mentioned is required to be installed.
