PIR not getting consumed according to consumption period in material master

Dear PP Experts,

Please help me in this problem.

I have used Strategy 10 & have defined consumption mode 2 (Bwd/fwd) & period 31 days for both Bwd & Fwd consumption period.

Now when there are older PIR than 31 days in system, in that case current PIR which are within 31 day period are not getting consumed.

Instead older PIR is getting consumed.

I have also tested this scenario with a test material in which case I restricted this to 3 days only. Still it consumed PIR created on 1st Aug instead of 17Th Aug.

I am not able to understand why its not following Consumption period that is being mentioned in Material Master.

Please Help.
