Request Successfully Closed but Provisioning Log not available

Former Member

Dear All,

We have set up Access Request Workflow and it was working absolutely fine. But recently we have observed that the request is getting closed and the user is getting created and provisioned but the mail which is sent to user says "No Provisioning log available". I guess there is some problem with %PROVISIONING% variable.

It was working fine until we moved some changes to PRD. We changed the notification templates and moved it to PRD. After which we are facing this problem.

I have included %PROVISIONING% variable in the mail template.

Any idea about the problem??

Thanks and Regards

Fazil

Dear Alessandro,

Thanks for your reply. But we are on SP19. And all the settings and notification email is fine. And Audit log also shows that the User is created in so and so system. But in the notification email sen t to user, it says No Provisioning log available. Do let me know if you need to see any specific screen shot.

Thanks and Regards,

Fazil

Fazil,

did you check the notes mentioned above?

E.g. http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/2170568 this note can be implemented on SP19.

Dear Alessandro,

But in the symptoms given in the note it says that the Audit log also doesn't show up anything. But in my case the audit log is perfect the problem is only with Mail content. Should I still go ahead and implement this note?

hi,do you find the entry for the user in Provisioning log, under Access Management->Access requests Administration.

Also check whether you have any log for users in table GRACREQPROVLOG

%PROVISIONING% picks up data from this table

Dear Plaban,

Thanks so much for your reply. But the logs are present for the requests in table GRACREQPROVLOG. And more over we do not have any problem with all the request types. But only one particular request type. I wonder how does the request type make a difference when the notification settings are common for all the request types.

And yes I am able to see the provisioning log in Audit log of the request.

Hey Prasant,

I am able to see the provisioning details in Audit log. But in the notification email, it says "No Provisioning Log available" and hence the user is unable to get the password once his ID is created.

Also this happens for only one kind of Request Type. For all other types of request type, its working fine.

Hi Fazil,

Would you please share the audit log screen shot, with the lines for the provisioning?

Also, share the "actions" associated with the specific request type you mention that the notification is incorrect.

Thanks!
