Precondition restriction on the basis of Variant Table

Dear All,

Is precondition restriction is possible with variant table if yes then please share the thoughts.

Example:

Table :

CHAR1 CHAR2

1210 TEST1

1220 TEST2

1230 TEST3

1210 TEST2

1210 TEST4

Then during selection of characteristic condition should be matched with variant table.
