Translation In Adobe Forms

Hi,

Recently I worked on Adobe forms translation and i found that it is very time consuming process as if i want to translate my forms in Chinese or some other language. So first i have to translate it on google translator then copy and paste each word (as we can't simply copy paste whole texts because of text formatting in Adobe). For around 600 lines it takes 2-3 hours of time. So is there any other technique through which we can maintain translation?

    Hi Neeraj,

You can use a Language dependent table to store the texts, use proper variable binding to display the text in o/p as per login language,,

for paragraphs use SO10 texts for its equivalent.

    hope it helps..!!

    Thanking You All..!!

    Hi,

please have a look at SmartForm Translation - Reducing the Burden

I know that this article is dealing with smart forms but the idea can be applied to Adobe as well .

The idea is to use the SAP Data elements text for printing and not just for interactive sessions.

    Regards.
