Alerts in Excel Plugin?

Experts,

Alerts are not getting displayed in Excel?..Alert KF is defined but not getting displayed?....Any thing special config needed?

I had an similar issue.

You need to save your planning view as favorite to view the alerts within dashboard.

Even after doing that it did not worked in some cases for me because time series was not generated in background which development fixed it after raising OSS message.

Hello Krishna,

Check

1. The default planning area has been assigned to the user;

2. In 'Edit Planning View' - Alert, check that the 'Name in Alert Dashboard (Favourite Views Only)' field has a name assigned for the planning view.

Hi Krishna,

When you open new planning view (or template) in the excel addin, there is an 'Alerts' tab, do you see your alert there? If not, please add that via 'Add Alert' button and then try.
