We are pilot testing SAP GUI 7.40 patch 2. That's the patch level available when we started our pilot. I have a defect report indicating an issue with Excel 2010. The testing is hosted off of NetWeaver 7.40 SPS 8. Transaction IW49 is used to export an order to Excel 2010. I presume this is some sort of ALV functionality. Anyway, selecting the green check mark on the informational popup will periodically not close the worksheet when selected and never close the Excel 2010 program. I am told this issue does not happen in the older SAP GUI 7.30.
I can't find any specific corrective SAP Note listed in patch 3 or 4 for SAP GUI 7.40 in order to justify modification to my pilot SAP GUI build. Is there some sort of ALV configuration on the backend we need to adjust? Just curious.
