No simulation parameters could be set for the active version

Hi All,

I searched few existing discussions on this error in SCN - but still could not solve it, so posting again.

I have created Location in APO and assigned to Active Model (000) and then to Active Planning version (000).

Now after that I am creating Location product (for same location created above) - Saved - Assigned to Model 000. Now when I am selecting Choose Planning Version and giving 000, it is giving error - No simulation parameters could be set for the active version.

Please suggest.

Regards,

Alok

Hi Alok

It is already assigned to active version. Carry on with your further activities. If you some simulation planning version in your system (or create one to see the effect) try to put the same and see the difference.

Thanks Rahul for the suggestion. I wonder if its already assigned to the Active version then why it is throwing the error?

Also does it mean that when the assignment is made to Active Model 000, it also make the assignment to Active version 000 also?

Yes, you are correct.

you don't have to choose the version '000' while displaying/changing the product-location. by default its already available in active version as you assigned it to the active model.

Thanks,
