Specify ReadOnly Fields of a specific row based on an indicator

Dear Experts,

it´s kind of difficult to describe my issue but I´ll try with the customer thing inspector UI. There, you have the tab Sales Data where you can add several rows. Each row owns a detail pane with several fields (Customer Group, Incoterms etc.).

Now, there is a requirement to set the fields read Only when sales data is created by an external System (SAP ERP). But if a user adds sales data, so the fields mustn´t be readOnly in the details pane of the belonging row.

I had the idea to implement an extension field which is set from the external system (indicator, true or false). If true, it means that the sales data has been created by the erp system and the fields are set read only. I use the "Adjust Properties" option in the Extensibility Explorer where I can bind the fields to my indicator. Unfortunately, after checking this method, all fields in the detail pane of every sales data row are set to read only.

Here is a screenshot of the COD_Account_TI. There, you can see the field "ERP_SalesArrangement"-Indicator, which can be set to true.

After adding a second row, the proper fields are set to read Only true, although the Indicator is set to false. So, the indicator should only be applicable to the field of one specific row.

Do you have any idea how to solve this requirement?

Best regards and thanks!

      Hello Rufat,

We have a similar requirement in Opportunities->Products table.

They said it is not possible in standard screens. I was able to do it on a custom table though.

Hoping SAP would provide some flexibility on this front. I have seen some other person as well mentioning that they had a similar requirement but could not achive.
