Linking tables using SQVI

Hi All,

I am new to SQVI.

I am trying to recreate the below.

But I am not able to link VBPA with ADRC table. Can somebody help me and also explain why I am not able to do so currently.

Administrators, please move my post to appropriate space if you think the space I have selected currently (Enterprise Resource Planning (SAP ERP)) is inappropriate.

Regards

Krishna Kumar

Hello Krishna kumar,

You said you are trying to recreate the joins in the picture you've posted. Assuming that it is from some well working SQVI, if you are expecting the system to automatically connect the shown join between the tables VBPA and ADRC, it does not happen always. Sometimes you need to drag and join. Means keep and press mouse pointer at VBPA-ADRNR field and drag it to ADRC-ADDRNUMBER field. Then the join will be made.

Hope this is the issue.

It is linked in your screenshot, so what does "not able" mean exactly?

The join is wrong though - you need to join VBUP to VBAP and then VBUK to VBUP. And it doesn't need to be left join - there is always one record in VBUP for VBAP. VBPA can be either at header or item level, so it needs to be linked accordingly. ADRC is linked to others by ADRNR, so that looks OK to me.

Dear Krishna,

This depends on what you require to see.

If you require to access the address information, you can use the KNA1 and ADRC tables and manually link the related fields. The address fields are -> KNA1-ADRNR  and ADRC - ADDRNUMBER.

Hope this helps.
