GRPO Layout takes much time to open.

Dear All,

We are facing a strange issue in crystal report. We have crystal report layout of GRPO with Batch details and it is quickly open in Server but same layout when open at client PC it takes minimum half an hour to just open the layout.

We have also format the PC and reinstall SAP thinking there may be an PC issue but still same problem exist even after format of PC and reinstalling SAP Business one.

Please suggest what could be the problem and how to solve this issue.

The first thing I would do is running the CR query in SBO from this computer. I think the query has too many rows, and the computer has no resources to process it.

If this is true, you have to improve the query and change the report.

Are you using subreports?

Hi.

Query is not having so many rows and even it was working correctly till date.

Also no subreports are there in query.

do you have firewall activated?  Antivirus?

If you run this report in another PC (not in server) what happens?

If you run this report in this PC with another Windows user what happens? Is it faster?

Please, SBO version.

Hi

if I run in PC other than Server it takes so much time to open but in some client PC there is no issue in opening the layout.

Also in some PC where this layout takes much time but other layout like PO, Goods issue are opening very fast.

SBO version is 8.82 PL12.

what differences are there between a PC that runs the report fast and the PC "slow"?

RAM?

Firewall? Antivirus?

UAC?

Operative system?

If you run the report in "slow" PC with other Windows user what happens?

I am not understand what is the reason behind this. But this was working properly till last week. All other layout have no problem in opening only GRPO takes time to open and this layout works perfectly in all other computers.

yes, it is very strange.

I would try the next:

1. Close SBO.

2. Delete the SM_OBS_DLL folder.

3. Open SBO and run the report.

Perhaps some libraries or temp files are corrupted.
