Error in creation AS01

hi friends

i am thinking to create a asset master record

after assign all the required fields . before save it is through error  E003 SYST: Period 000 is not valid in financial year variant

Hello Ravi,

As per  the error you getting while creating the asset master data:- Generally period control will determine the depreciation start date. For 02, it is Pro rata upto mid-period at period start date.

This is means  for asset value date after mid month (i.e. before 15 of each month), depreciation will be start from next month.

As an example,

asset value date from 01.08.2015 to 15.08.2015  -> Depreciation start date is 01.08.2015

asset value date from 16.08.2015 to 31.08.2015  -> Depreciaiton start date is 01.09.2015

Also :-

Please, check period control of your depreciation key (AFAMA). Then, via OA84 check if this period control works with period 000.

actually i solve that issue

what the problem is  in AFAMA i am not assign period  control
