Salesforce as a Data Source in Crystal 11

Hello,

I understand that a package for data access to Salesforce is available in Crystal 11 (exact version 11.5.12.1838). Where I can download or order this package? (I've checked and our existing Crystal install does not list Salesforce in the data source options.)

Hi Tim,

CR XI R2 is no longer supported or available for download so I don't believe we have a link any more...

I'll have a look.... Also note these 2 KBA's may also affect you.

2092680 - SAP Crystal Reports, Salesforce.com and SSL vulnerability

The recent salesforce.com certificate change did affect Crystal Reports connectivity.  CR returns “Failed to Open Connection” in Designer. Documented:

2205572 - Failed to Open the connection. Crystal Reports and salesforce.com certificate issue.

Your only option may be to upgrade to CR 2013, you can download a trial version and test. Link is on the Overview tab on the left side.

Search for Salesforce and you'll find a recent one explaining only option is to stay on previous version.

I'm not seeing the specific note that you refer to within the first 10 after searching for "salesforce" and "sales force". None seem to suggest a previous version of Crystal 2013.

Could you send a detail link to the note?
