Hi,
I am working through our first implementation project and are in the Fine Tuning phase. I have an activity to maintain the Sales Channel but not one for the Division.
I have searched all activities as described in note Division code for code list mapping in C4C | SCN but I return no activity referencing division.
I have changed the scope to include all topics under Sales (Accounts Management, Sales, New Business).
Any help in finding where I'm going wrong would be appreciated.
Paul.
Hi Paul
Are you saying you don't see it in the fine tuning activities to add your distribution channel?
Or are you saying you can't find it in the code list mapping?

Hi Ginger,
Sorry not clear enough. I have a fine tuning activity for Distribution Channel and have completed that.
I do not have an activity for Division. If I search all activities it is not there either.
I've completed the migration template for customers but this is failing because of the lack of divisions.
Thanks for your help,
Paul.
Hi Karan,
Attached are two screen shots. All Activities.jpg shows the Fine Tuning activities list displaying all the activities i think. Scrolling through displays no division task. All Activities - Filtered.jpg shows this list filtered by the word 'division' just to show it's not there.
Thank you very much for your help,
Paul.
Hi Paul
This is most likely a tenant-specific issue. Fine-tuning activity for "Division" is merely a code-list mapping activity and should show up under "All Activities" for "Sales" Activity Group irrespective of any other scoping selections.
I would encourage you to create an incident from within your tenant. Someone from SAPs support team can analyze this seemingly tenant specific issue.
Thanks
Karan
Hi Paul
Divisions become relevant only in the scenarion of the C4C solution integrating with ERP/CRM solutions. If the integration is active in your solution, you need to define divisions to ensure a smooth replication of divisions between SAP ERP/CRM and C4C. Hence the activity " Divisions" will only be found in the activity list only one either of the two integrations are scoped.
I have found your incident and am closing the same, now.
This should resolve the issue.
Thank you.

Suraj

Hi Suraj,
Thank you for your response. I have added ERP integration to my project scope even though we are not using it at the moment. That does now allow division to be configured.
The importance of this is that the standard customer migration template provided with the solution will now work, as division is a required field.
Kind regards,
Paul.
