COMPUTE_FLOAT_ZERODIVIDE dump during COR1

Hi All,

We are getting COMPUTE_FLOAT_ZERODIVIDE dump during Process Order creation. Surprisingly it is only for few Process order quantities. For example it gives dump for 80 to 84 quantity. But it allows to save for 85 to 89 quantities. Also it gives dump for 90 PO quantity. The issue is with one of the component quantity. If we change this component quantity it allows to save. But as our client want to save the Process order with the same component quantity, it can not be changed. Kindly suggest.

Hi Vinit

Please provide the complete short dump, so that we can help you in this case.

If you display in ST22 the dump you can download it using the menu System - List - Save - Local File. You should choose unconverted extension.

Dear Vinit,

This is a standard issue with a SAP program as mentioned in the SAP Note.

The Below Mentioned is another note which is for the same error dump.

1467291 - Runtime error COMPUTE_FLOAT_ZERODIVIDE

Symptom

Component:  Product Safety
Module:       Substance volume tracking

When you execute the program RREGCH_VT "Substance volume tracking: Tracking of Substance Quantities" or the program RREGCH_RESTART_VT "Substance Volume Tracking: Correction of Tracked Substance Quantities", the runtime error COMPUTE_FLOAT_ZERODIVIDE occurs. The runtime error may occur irrespective of the scenario.

The runtime error occurs in the following constellation, for example:
You create an outbound delivery and post the goods issue. You then reverse the goods movement and execute the program RREGCH_VT. In this case, the runtime error occurs only if the program RREGCH_VT was not executed between creating and reversing the goods issue.

Hi,

There are no discontinuation item. Issue is caused by one component in BOM only. If this component quantity is changed or reduced then it allows to save the Process Order.
