Hi,
I've tried to set the valid value set for a user-defined field in SAP Business One. Is it possible to set blank value/ NULL as one of a valid values for a user-defined field? I knew there is a workaround to link a user-defined table to a user-defined field, but I don't want to let end-user add new values for the drop-down list.
Thank you for the help
Sincerely,
Karen Kang
It is not necessary, u can define a NONE value for them to choose, and u can program ur logic to treat this NONE as Null or Empty.
The value list doesn't allow u to add a blank line.

Hi
Check the link to set values for the fields...
http://ask.cornerstonesap.com/how-to-add-a-user-defined-field/
Also you create one value as Blank or Empty in value for the user to select when it is empty..
