Set default SQL server version in the Choose Company window

HI All,

In SAP B1 9.1 we now can install on SQL 2012 and SQL 2014, however when a user goes to logon the first time SAP defaults to SQL 2008.  you can see this when they click on Choose Company. the then have to select the correct SQL Sever type.

Is there a way to set the defaults for the choose company window for a new user?

Thanks in advance,

Tod

Hi,

there are no ways to set default for choose company windows.

but your last logon will be your default on the next logon.

I believe u will need to remove SQL 2008's client to achieve that.

Hi

I think it is not possible.

You have to configure all SBO clients manually.

Kind regards.
