ORA-28000: the account is locked error in Webi report

Dear Experts,

I am getting the error "ORA-2800: the account is locked" in Webi report when I refresh the report in BI Launchpad.

Can any one help me to resolve this error.

Hi Ravi,

Please check if the user which is used in the universe connection is able to login to SQL plus. It may be a case that the user which you have used in the universe has locked out on database

Hi Harshad,

I am able to login into Oracle SQL developer with my login credentials, when I try to refresh the Webi report in BI Launchpad getting this error.

Also, when I try to run the query in IDT to check the data, getting the same error.

Hi Ravi,

In IDT you will have a connection connecting to the oracle database. There will be a username and password given to the connection.

Can you check if that user is able to login to SQL plus I belive the user used in IDT connections is locked out on the database kindly check the same

Thanks for the info, we have updated Oracle database credentials in IDT for connection and its working fine now.
