SFTP adapter version in SAP PI

Hello,

we are installing SFTP adapter in SAP PI 7.1, I would like to know how many versions of SFTP adapter are available in SAP PI.

Please share your input if you know anything on SFTP adapter.

Hi Manigandan,

SFTP adapter comes under secure connectivity add-on provided by SAP. This is a free addon unlike B2B add-on for which you need a licence from SAP.

For SFTP adapter, your PI version needs to be PI 7.11 SP08 or higher in order to utilize the SFTP adapter.

you cant directly deploy your SAP SFTP adapter though your version is PI 711 it depends on the SP level also.i remember you can only deploy SFTP from PI 711 SP11 (not sure please check prerequisites note)

its better to make use of the latest content which will have all the functionalities for ex:processing multuiple files etc....
