Hello Experts,

Scenario is file-JDBC,whenever the file is placed in the root folder, getting the following error in communication channel

Failed to archive file '*_.TXT' as ''/Failed to archive file '*.TXT' as ''/QA_MSDynamics/MSDynamics_Backup/'/20150811-143055-912_*_20150811.TXT' after processing. The FTP server returned the following error message: 'com.sap.aii.adapter.file.ftp.FTPEx: 450 Unexpected reply codeRename Failed'. For details, contact your FTP server vendor.

Checked the following points

1)The user of the FTP has access to delete, read and write

2)The path name maintained is correct in FTP and in PI sender channel.Attached the screenshot for the same.

Please suggest.

Regards,

Kalpana

Hi Kalpana,

I echo with Azhar reply. Can you please check on it.

Also, normally filename of a file should not contain certain characters like *,<,> etc.

From the error log, I can see * in the archiving filename 20150811-143055-912_*_20150811.TXT, does the filename in the main directory has * character in it. Can you please check on this.

Hi Kalpana,

What is the filename you have mentioned?I believe you were using * .txt in the fileName.

Can you give some name in the filename ?

Hi Kalpana,

From the error log it seems, there is an issue while Archiving the Filename , its (user id) not able to rename the file.

Seems issue with permission to the User ID on the Archive Dir that you have given. Can you check / request the team to share what permissions the user is having in that dir.

Also try to :

1. Write the file as - is (without Timestamp option) and check if it able to

2. Try to provide some other available working Dir path and ckh if User is having proper authorizations.

Regards,

Azhar
