Release Of Consumed Forecast At The Time Of Sales Order Deletion / Cancellation

Former Member

Dear All,

My query is as follows :

We released the forecast for an item say 1000 Nos for a particular location for the month of August - 2015. We are using Consumption mode as "1" and backward consumption period as 999 and forward consumption period as 0.

On 03-AUG-2015, Sales order for 100 Nos got booked and got despatched. On viewing the Planning book, pending forecasted qty was 900.

On 05-AUG-2015, another sales order for 200 Nos got booked. At this time, pending foecast qty. was 700 Nos.

on 06-AUG-2015, this sales order got cancelled, at this junction, when we saw the planning book, 700 Nos is being shown in the forecast qty. key field.

Where as, if we see details of this forecast qty,. this qty. of 200 Nos is being shown in the " Original Quantity " Column.

Now, my question is that how to revive this 200 Nos....?  i.e. we shall like to have this 200 Nos added into the balance forecast qty (which is logically true).

Please ADVISE how this can be achieved.

Regards,

Dinesh

Hi,

One suggestion would be to run the report /sapapo/md74 to reorganize requirements/forecast. Hopefully this works for you.

Hi,

After SO cancellation, what is the situation now in product view (//rrp3) element tab and forecast tab?
Is forecat tab correct or not? If element tab is incorrect but forecat tab is correct, you can run report /sapapo/csp_correct_fcst.

Do you mean that after SO cancellation, the 200 quantity went to original quantity when you check GT_IO in //rrp3? This is strange because original quantity is normally reduction quantity after PGI.
You can provide as much details as you can. However based on situation, it's possible that you'll not be able to get the 200 quantity back.

Hi Dinesh,

Hope you configured all ATP related settings right in place.

Check whether there is an active integration model exist for Sales Order and ATP parameters. If not CIF the sales order specific to respective ProdLoc and check the same

Is there any orders created against the customer requirement in APO/ECC ?

Dear Vinoth,

Thanks , but dear, IM of sales order exists & is active.. that's why sales order are getting reflected in sales order key figure... my issue is on booking a sales order, forecast qty is getting consumed but on cancellation of sales order (before delivery), this is not getting reversed. How we can achieve this...?

Hi Dinesh,

I understood your problem well.

Yes as you said, created SO would've cifed earlier But what i wanted to know is whether the CANCELLED SO information flown to SCM or not.

Did any Planned Orders/PR got created against the SO, Do you run any planning engine for creating the orders, CTM/PPDS ?

Is there any fixed pegging activated for the product location ?

Dear Vinoth,

Thanks for a very quick response.

Yes Dear, Cancelled SO got removed from APO. But as the forecasted qty did not get increase that's why no revision in the PR.

Actually, i shall like that balance forecast qty being shown in Forecast Key figure of the planning book should give the updated figure. That be the end result.

Dinesh
