Hi,

Kindly help we having foreign purchase order in c and exchange rate in PO is ‘5.617’  , but we are facing the issue that Good receipt is posted at exchange rate ‘9.74040’

Which is different from both exchange rate in PO and OB08 (kindly find attached screen shots)

N.B : kindly note the translation rate regarding the Conditions clearing GLs is correct , the problem is mainly with the Inventory and GR/IR GLs

Best Regards,

Mohamed Farid

Hi,

You need to maintain check on field "Exch. Rate Fixed" if you need exchange rate maintained in PO.

If above check is not made then system picks exchange rates from OB08 on the basis of posting date.

Check if exchange rates are maintained for "M" at later date from 31.03.2015. Check what is the latest rate maintained for GBP to AED.

While maintaining exchange rates in OB08, date refers to "valid from". Your posting date as per screen shot is 03.08.2015, check the nearest back date to posting date 03.08.2015 for exchange rates in OB08 for exchange rate type "M".

Thanks and Regards,

Anurag

Hi Anurag ,

Thanks for reply , yes the exchange rate type is 'M' , I checked oba7 document type 'WE' and t-code omrw . and the weird issue that the fixed exchange rate is not checked and the system get rate for inventory gl different from the one maintained in ob08 and for conditions GLs uses the rate in the PO and ignored posting date rate (kindly check attached screen shots)

Hi,

Check in OB08 for the exchange rates at latest date for GBP to AED for exchange rate type "M".

I think you have maintained rates in August month as well.

Go to OB08 and check for rates in August month as well.

Thanks and regards,

Anurag

Hi ,

latest date as in 3rd screen shot in 31.07.2015 but the system in GR ignored the rate of this date.
