How to switch the system ID in the SAP OSS messages?

Dear experts,

I have done a migration of my development system and now I have a new SID, the same system but with a new SID.

In order to keep the connection with some OSS messages that I have open with SAP, I need to know how switching the old SID to the new one from SAP Marketplace.

Do I have to open a new OSS in order to request to SAP that change the SID for me? 

Could I do it by myself? How?

Even though you have created the OSS in wrong system you can provide the correct system details in the message body itslf for SAP Support.That should work.

Otherwise you can contact SAP CIC ( SAP Support in your region).Thay will be able to guide you on this.

You have to use the SWPM to switch(Rename the SID from Old to new) the new SID. Refer the SCN link about the system rename -
