How do i get the cursor position in a tree hierarchy for a BDC recording

Is there a way we can, somehow, get the cursor position for the node i have selected while executing a bdc recording in background mode.

My requirement is that i've to move one node to another. Cost center groups to be specific.

The user will pass the group name and the new parent name, i have to move that pre-existing group to the new parent. For this, i've done a bdc recording of OKEO. I'm able to fetch the names of correct group from the hierarchy, but what the cursor position would be for those nodes is what i'm unable to figure out.

If you use the menus,  there are in some transactions single entry screens specifically for using BDC's,

In this case unfortunately there isn't anything of this type,  but under the Edit->Cost Center there is a Find option which will put your cursor on the correct cost center even if it is not displayed.  I have got the time to dig around further but there might be something similar for cost centre groups.

Hi Dikshant,

Please let the community know how you resolved this since someone else might have the same problem in future.
