In 1702, can we broadcast in the new formats (PDF, xlsx)?

Hi all,

I know in 1702 release, we will be able to download reports in 2 additional formats. Anyone know if we can use the same formats when broadcasting a report (our users would really prefer these formats over the current ones (csv and xml)?

Hi Jeevan,

Our users really do not like receiving reports in those formats (csv (not user-friendly), xml (cannot open on mobile))..

I was anticipating broadcasting in a more user-friendly, commonly accepted format in XLSX

Are there any plans to extend this format to broadcasts?

Hi Sandico,

Yes, with 1702 new download options are available but with regards to broadcasting reports the options are still the same as 1611.

i.e,

-CSV (Comma-Separated Values)

-XML (Microsoft Office XML for Excel)

-HTML

-URL
