Restrict Planning of Subsequent stage of FU before preceding stage is planned

Hello Experts,

We are a Shipper company with TM 9.1:

We have a multi leg scenario leading to FU split into stages using Default Route:

Stage 10: A----B

Stage 20: B----C

Stage 30: C----D

We want system to plan stage 20 of the FU only after stage 10 is planned

Likewise, stage 30 should be restricted for planning before stage 20

Please suggest how to handle it in SAP TM

Hi Vikram,

Use FU Create Strategy, to put planning block in all stages except Stage 10.

Further, on FO create strategy of stage 20 FO type (if you have different FO type), check if previous stage is planned/executed or not. If yes then allow creation of FO (i.e. allow planning) else not. So on for further stages...

On a second thought if you have EM implemented unblock stage 20/30 (by coding) when the preceding stage is planned...

Hello Vikram

Restrict the planning elements( Freight unit's stage) in your selection criteria or profile of FU. By putting an additional condition record by reading the stage level data of FU. Some attributes you can think of

Planning status

Departure Time

Planned/Arrival Time

Only when the criteria is satisfied the FU's flow into cockpit or background job selection.
