Delivery date for purchase requisition in production order

Hello experts,

When I define an external procurement in a production order for Non-stock item, the purchase requisition is correctly generated, Then, I change the delivery date in the purchase requisition by filling out the field GR Proc. Time (Goods Receipt Processing Time in Days) in the process order with a value of 30 days. Consequently, the system changes the delivery dates. However, this new delivery date in the PR is calculated as 30 days in the past from the component's requirement date.

Is this standard SAP behaviour? Is it possible to set the delivery date in the purchase requisition 30 days from the requirement date instead? Or is it possible to change the requirement date for this component to achieve the same effect?

sap standard  concept

MRP and forecast-based planning procedures, backward scheduling is used to determine the basic dates.

say pr requirement date07:08:2015

pr requirement date---  gr processing time(1 day)=  pr finish date(6;08:2015)

pr finish date--  planned delivery time(2days)+purchase processing time(1)= pr release date(3:08:2015)

Reorder point planning the basic dates are determined by forward scheduling

Requirement date:7:08:2015

Requirement date=planned delivery time(2days)+purchase processing time(1)= pr delivery date say 10:08:2015

Thank you for your reply. It helped me a lot. The scheduling type was Forward in my document, so I changed it to Backward and the system calculated the "Requirement date" according to the "Basic finish date" and then in the purchase requisition the "delivery date" was calculated according to the "Requirement Date" and "GR Proc. Time" with Forward schedule as I wanted.

But I have another question: In this order I have two types of components: Services and materials. The process above works for the services components, but for the materials components I need to have a different "Requirement Date". Is it possible to change the schedule or requirement date only for these materials components?
