Work Status email failure when using team name in Owner Property

The heading says it all. I am using work status to send email notifications. It works and sends emails when I use individual user ids in the Owner Property. But it fails to send an email when a team name is used in the Owner Property. I put the team name in square brackets. there are no typos in the team name. Team has one user and user has an email address associated with it.

I have same set up for BPC with team names in performer and reviewer. They work fine and send mails without a glitch.

I am on BPC 10.0 NW SP7. EPM SP18.

I searched all around on couldn't find anything on this subject and didn't find anything about this error.

If anyone knows where to look at the details of email error exception, it will also be helpful.

Let me know if anyone can test it on their side or experienced and found a solution.

Did you ever get a resolution to this issue? I am seeing the same problem.

Maybe you could check the details of the error message in the the application log (SLG1) or in the log of the job (SM37).

I have set up e-mail notifications for peformer and reviewer - I see you have also set this up succesfully. Which e-mail adress is sending the e-mails in your case ? In my case it is the creator

of the BPF, which is strange.
