It should work on a "Surface Tablet via the Desktop" and related just like it does on a desktop. I can test it later and provide you the results.

Thank you.

HI Pushkar,

you're right in regard to all Surface PRO series Tablets running full Windows. It's defintely not working on Windows RT.

Yupp, no support for Windows RT. See SAP Cloud for Customer System and Software Requirements

Thank you.

Hi Siddharta,

the synchronisation between the MS Exchange backend (or whatever other system is used) and C4C is done through the outlook add-in.

Therefore as to my knowledge there is (at the moment) no mobile synchronisation.

I heard SAP is working on integration to the iOS Mail and Calendar apps but this is only rumours.

A clarification:

The add-in synchronizes data between C4C and the mail client (Outlook or Lotus Notes) and not directly with the Exchange/Notes backend. The mail client takes care of synchronizing this data to their Exchange/Notes backend (as usual).

If the user is also using the add-in on a desktop/laptop, then the data is also available on mobile devices since it is already synchronized to their Exchange/Notes backend.

Also, Cloud for Customer supports server-side groupware integration via a partnership with RIVA - please explore this option for mobile device support (in case the add-in usage on a second device is not an option)
