SAP Benefits Credit Amount not deducting they way it should

Hi Siddarth,

I see you have been responding lot of threads in this forum , if you have a minute, please can you help me in understanding this piece. Really got stuck here need some input and I am new to Benefits.

On ESS SAP Benefits screen I have column Credit Amount(CRAMT) display the employee credit amount  , this is the amount is credit for employee based on his annual salary.

As he select the health plans, insurance, miscellaneous and finally the cost associated with these plans should be deducted and from Credit Amount and remaining balance should be saved as in his HSA account as his savings.

Example: Credit amount 190 , his health plan = 20 , Dental = 10, Insurance plans (Life , Ad&D)= 20 , Miscellaneous (Vacation, RRSP, ) = 15

Now the Credit Amount is = 190 - 65 = 125

When he is at final step Review and Save , the remaining balance should go as his HSA in this case 125.

Some reason this standard functionality is not working as expected, may be I am not sure whether this is the Standard SAP functionality , what is the SAP Column should I use to show the Remaining Credit amount?

Please suggest , if this is not standard I might go and look enhancing to meet our needs.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks

Krishna

Hi All,

I am still searching solution for this issue, any input will be appreciated.

I expected to see CRAMT field value should be populated in all steps like other fields but some reason SAP is clearing this field value and setting to '0'. when I move on to next steps in the process.

I can only see filed value in "CREDIT PLANS"  step, The underlying  Feeder class is  "CL_HRESS_BEN_PLANS_OVERVIEW"

Field: CRAMT

When I move on to next steps example,  ,"HEALTH PLANS "  is using the same feeder classs CL_HRESS_BEN_PLANS_OVERVIEW , from here CRAMT value is defaulting to '0'.

I am trying to create a new zvariable and copy the CRAMT field value and make sure this value available across all the steps  but client didn't like this approach as they wanted to investigate why this value is not showing up in other steps.

Thanks

Krishna

Check if there is any badi available to achieve this else you might have to write some enhancement.

looks like your expertise is needed here.

If you have to ask a question to any specific person then, you have to take that persons profile url http://scn.sap.com/people/siddharth.rajora and by doing this a separate mail will be sent to the respective person

Thanks Yugander. Noted.

Seeking some advice from our friends in this community who are expertise in this area. Since I am very new to Benefits, I just wanted to make sure I am heading in the right direction.

I just don't want to reinvent the wheel if SAP is already delivering this functionality. In the mean time I am debugging from end too.

Thanks
