HI expert,

we are getting this warning

Ping on server 'http://hostname:port/dtr/' failed (server might not be available) - Read timed out

when im trying to checkout any component in my nwdi , the version of nwds is 7.31 , the activity view im not able logon and when im trying to check out above error is occuring please suggest a solution.

Hope you are doing good.

Please go through SAP KBA 1523959 - Cannot check files into DTR due to read timeout

thoroughly as this deals with the same issue.

then the server should be ok, check your proxy setting

Hi Govardan,

Try the below:

1)
Goto IDE -> windows -> preference -> DI -> DTR -> Connection settings  

and enable the compression and then try. Also increase the timeout values.
2)
Increase the DTR server parameters maxRequestContentLength to double what is set presently (see Note 1001509 ).
