We have a requirement where, user wants to get the KPI's stored in BPC for future use.

We implemented BADI for the same, but when at a group entity level, the values of KPIs gets added up as per standard BPC role up functionality.

To avoid this, we have planned to use a local member which will give KPI's values for consolidated report using excel formula.

the query  is how do we override this KPI based on the entity selection.

So whenever the entity is a base member, the report should get us the KPI which is member of one dimension and when entity is a group level, report should use the local member.

Hi,

have a extra column in your report, do a IF statement, if the member is base then display the local member value. and hide the local member column.

check for CALC=N for base member.

the KPIs are in the rows....and when entity is selected as base level report should show the KPI's which are my members of a dimension and report should show the local members when we select the group member in the entity dimension...

split the report into 2, one for base members and one for groups.

Can group and base members be identified uniquely- by looking at them? For eg- Group member will always be starting with, say GRP
