Pricing Document Type 002

Former Member

Hi All.

A change was made in the source of supply  from 1 to 2 in the article master data.

Automatic pricing documents type 002 with status A were created,  all of them  visible in Tx VKP7.

I dont know what happened but the next day the documents were not any more. I try to review them in VKP7 but got the message that document does not exist. Is this posible?

Please your comments are welcome.

Regards

Berta

Hi Berta,

1/ Pricing document with wkbk-kbart =0002 are pricing worklist documents.

If your customizing defines that master data changes are subjects to pricing worklist then this is probably the reason of this pricing doc type 0002.

See  Pricing Worklist - SAP Retail - SAP Library and "Pricing documents with adjustments for changes in conditions and master data

With this document index, calculations that are affected by changes to the source of supply parameters are entered, in addition to those affected by changes in purchase prices."

2/ Several reasons may explain it does not exist anymore:

* A user has created a new pricing document (items) for the same article and organisational level (site or Price list or distribution chain) and within the validity dates of the 0002 pricing doc items.

Either through Vkp5 or vkpb transactions (without any link to the 0002 pricing doc items).

Or through wvn1 or wvn2 transactions (to validate the Price calculations displayed in the 0002 pricing doc items).

On both cases, a pricing doc is created with wkbk-kbart = 0001 (and normally wkbp-bpsta = C).

...and pricing document items with wkbk-kbart = 0002 and wkbp-bpsta = A or B (items) are physically deleted from the database when the system finds the same article and organisational level (site or Price list or distribution chain) and within the validity dates of the new pricing doc items.

If all items of a pricing document are deleted, then the header gehts deleted as well.

* someone has deleted the pricing doc items (and header when all items are deleted) using the pg RWVKP01D.

David

Many Many thanks.

The reason it was deleted is because an user created, as you mention a new pricing document in VKP5 with the same validity dates as the document type 002.
