Personas 2.0 SP03 Switch Flavor Script Failed

Former Member

Hi All,

Since we upgraded to SP03, we have been experiencing the following message intermittently when accessing certain transactions which contain

the switch flavor script.  We are unable to pin this down because it does not occur every time, it seems to work occasionally.  Unusual I know, we are now using ID's to switch the flavors.  Please see the screen shot attached.

Has anyone experienced the same issue?

Hello Imran -

Do you know which if condition is executed?

Also I see that you have a switch flavor with a flavor name. Although the name works in Personas 2.0 SP3, you can no longer update that Switch flavor script action to indicate the Flavor name. You can only provide the GUID for the flavor.

Can you please try switching the named flavor to the GUID in the script and try it again.

For details on this please check the Personas 2.0 Knowledge base.

Thanks

Vandana

Hi

Even with the named flavor updated, we will experience the same issue.  It seems like it depends on the connection speed or whether we are connected via VPN maybe.  It does work sometimes.  The IF conditions are true in all scripts.

Please see attached, a few examples of scripts, taking the user in the QM01 or QM02 and switching the flavor based on QN Type

Hi Imran,

Make sure you are using the Flavor Id in Switch flavor, because in SP3 of personas version 2 the switch flavor features have been changed.

Keep in mind that, when you export and import a flavor from one system to another, flavor id changes and you need to update the id in switch flavor step.Because the flavor id changes once you import in target system

In some cases, if the target system has the same flavor name in the same transaction then also there is a chance of flavor id getting changed while you import.
