Process chain issue

HI to SCN,

Suppose I have the process chain of 6 steps in that there is an error in the 4th step , by finding the variant I can resolve the  error but my question is  actually in the process chain of 4th step  the job is scheduled at  11'o clock ,but after resolving the error in 4th step the time is 11:30 am so how to do the job ?

I am waiting for early reply.

Hi Babu,

As you mentioned you resolved this 4th step and time limit exceeds by half an hours.

It is not a big deal sometimes resolving critical issue may take time but if you are facing this same issue again and again than you can analyze it carefully in process monitor and try to find permanent solution.

If you share the issue details than we can help you to find you time efficient way to resolve it.

Hi,

Your question is not quite clear.

If you'd cleared the issue on the 4th step of process chain then just go to that step --> Right Click-->Repeat Step.

This will re-execute the failed step.

Am not clear still.

Process chains are used to sequence of jobs in series (one after another).

In your case 4th step should start as soon as your 3rd step gets completed.

Check what time your 3rd step got completed.

I guess 11 am is your normal schedule, issue identification and resolution time may caused 30 min and you would have started the failed step after that.

Remember the scheduled start timing of the each individual step i s dynamic as they depend upon the completion of the previous dependent steps.
