Audit trail for documents

Does an audit trail exist for documents (comments) in BPS layouts? I know that it exists for the numbers in the layout. Does that same principle apply for documents?

Hello,

there's no audit trail for the comments. Here's a suggestion: At the end of the day (or whenever you need a snap shot of all comments), run a custom planning function that copies the comments. You can use the planning function described in <a href="http://service.sap.com/~form/sapnet?_SHORTKEY=01100035870000668367&">how-to paper "Documents in SEM-BPS and BW-BPS"</a>.

Copy to comments to a new combination of characteristic values. You could add a characteristic called "document version" to the InfoCube.

you can find "DOCUMENTS IN SEM/BW-BPS" under this link http://service.sap.com/~form/sapnet?_SHORTKEY=01100035870000668367&;

then on the left side window click HOW TOO....GUIDES-BPS.

Hello Srx,

In sem bps you can see all document insert by users through one function.

When you must to crete a function, for exemple, You can choose also "Create document".

If You have insert document in layout, you see them.

You see only documents in correspondence of the selections made in the level and the package.
