Help with formula in the pas

Dear expert !

I build the formula for calculate the score of kpi.

if kf09_act le kf09_tar =100

otherwise = (kf09_act%kf09_tar)

The formula is working very well but when kf09_act doesn't exist (empty) and kf09_tar is number the formula goes to otherwise and get the score (kf09_act%kf09_tar) and I want that score will be 100.

How can I check at formula that kf09_act is empty null?

I try this formula but it doesn't work.

if kf09_act is null =0

and try this

kf09_act is empty =0

it doesn't work at pas.

Very glad to get any help.

Best regards,

Benyamin Orit.

Have you tried exchanginging the "is" with "EQ" ?

PAS scripting used to have the

    LT Less Than

    GT Greater Than

    EQ EQual

In other words, "IF kf09_act EQ NULL"

Possibly also try to change NULL for "MISSING", but i doubt that will work.

There's also another option in the PAS DB, try the command:

    before running the proc.

This would normally set the output to zeros, when values are missing. We haven't really succeeded using it in the past though, but could be worth a try...
