career shift from BPO to SAP

Hello everyone

I am working in BPO handling the banking process. I am interested in making a shift to SAP, more specifically SAP HANA. I belong to the business management background and have knowledge of Database and SQL.

Kindly suggest me how can I make a move to SAP and what career path should I choose.

If you are interested you can go for HANA or SAP Finance (if you know Finance well).

Hi,

As you are having finance experience , SAP FI would be a good choice. Its like domain experience to you. If you do not have any prior SAP experience it will be difficult to join any new organization(even after certification) as SAP FI consultant, since people are deployed to work on live systems which requires experience and finance is a sensitive area. Do SAP certification and look for opportunity in your current organization. be there for coming 2-3 years.
