Hi,

from a technical point of view in IS-Retail, generic article is no stock-keeping unit. So, there is no stock on MARD kept in the database tables and therefore, you will receive no stock when selecting with generic article.

Workaround could be that you select all variants of a generic article together. This can usually be done via F4-Help in article number field, then selecting "Multiple selection" and then use the search for "Variants of a Generic Article", mark all the variants and then run the stock report.

Tobias

Generic article will be just used as reference for all the variant articles to refer the price and some common parameters.

All the store operations will be done on variant articles only like sales, GI and reversals, so you have to see all variants together to get it consolidate view of generic article stock.
