BAPI_ACTIVITYCRM_CREATEMULTI

We're trying to create multiple activities in CRM using the mentioned BAPI during office hours. When COMMITting these activities (BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT) numerous dialog processes are started which can't be controlled. Due to this, the overall performance of this system is far beyond workable for the call center.

Does anyone have any experience with this BAPI in general en/or does anyone know how to control the number of DIALOG processes which the BAPI uses/needs.

The actual creation of the activities is performed using a job.
