Planned Ind Reqs (PIRs) mismatch when transferred from APO DP to ECC

Hi Gurus,

While transferring PIRs from APO DP to ECC, Numbers in planning book are being multiplied by number of time periods available in data view before reaching ECC. Below are example and additional details. Please let me know if more information needed to help me. I would appreciate your inputs.

Example,

  •      No. of periods in data view: 12 months (1/2016 thru 12/2016)
  •      Forecast under period in data view:  1/2016 - 10 ; 2/2016 - 20
  •      Forecast in ECC MD63 after transfer through DP background job: 1/2016 - 120  (10*12 ) ; 2/2016 - 240 (20* 12)

Below settings are followed

  •   Product and Locations are maintained in APO & R/3.
  • Active Integration Model maintained for PIR(For Product location combination)
  • Time bucket Profile with only one periodicity.
  • Transfer Profile is created.
  • Publication maintained (Maintain Distribution Definition).
  • Background job created to release to R/3.
  • CIF Connection between APO and R/3 is On/Active.
  • Separate planning book with single data view with one keyfigure is maintained.

I have come across same issue when used transferred from Infoprovider (/SAPAPO/REL_TO_OLTP) as well.

Tejasvi

Hi All,

Thanks for your response. I found a SAP note 2005183 to fix this issue. I'm still going through approval process to apply note. However, I'm positive this note would fix my issue.

Tejasvi,

Cross check:

  • If UoM is same in APO and ECC. There is no conversion etc. happening (though it's difficult as each product can't have same but cross check to rule out).
  • Just cross check the below checklist (KBA) to cross check everything is fine (though it's when nothing is transferred but you can cross check points mentioned irrespective they are getting transferred).
  • Have you assigned any period split profile in transfer profile, if yes check the definition.
  • Check you don't have any macro etc. while releasing the demand which is executed before this.
  • Also check no Exit is active while transfer of data.

1984255 - Planned independed requirements are not transferred to ECC - Checklist
