Configuring Opportunity-to-Order Process Integration with SAP ERP

Hi everyone,

we are currently configuring Opportunity-Sales Quote Integration using PI. From our understanding there is supposed to be an Action in the Opportunity "Create SAP ERP Sales Quote" (or similar). We are struggling to see this Action and I was wondering what might be the case. The Problem is that we are still lacking a few settings on PI, moreover, we did not Transfer materials yet. Can someone please quickly outline the prerequisites to enable this Action on the opportunity?

We have defined the following in scoping and answered the related questions as shown below.

What else has to be the case for the Action to be available? I would expect it to be shown permenantly but disabled instead of not at all.

You mentioned you did not transfer materials yet. Adding a product to an opportunity is required to see the "create SAP ERP order" action.

Hi Jasper,

thanks fot the Input. I expected that we would need materials first but could not be sure. So it is the case that the Action even only shown up once I add products to an Opportunity?! I thought that it might have been visible but disabled.

Yes, the action is only shown when there are products added to the opportunity.

Have you created the corresponding Communication Arrangement to trigger the ERP Sales Quote Request or Sales Quote?

Hello Chandan,

thanks for the quick reply. We have configured the following Communication Arrangement. Completeness Check runs successfully. Connection test of the Outbound Communication runs into Server Ping Error 303.

Should we be able to see the action once the Connection is restored?

In case if you are using HCI as middleware expected ping test should give code 405 else if you are using PI it should be tested successfully.

Looks like you have some issue with the configurations, hence you are getting 303. Please re-check the configurations for this.
