Hi PS experts,
I have the following requirement.
I'am dealing with WBS defined as investment measures.
When status of WBS is different from TECO, it is possible to create a final asset from WBS via CJ20N.
I would like to prevent this action so that it is NOT possible to create a final asset from WBS via CJ20N IF WBS status is different from TECO.
Any idea?
Thanks!
S.
Hello,
Not sure is it possible to rely on status to prevent creation of final asset. However, system will continue to settle from WBS elements to AuC as long as status is not TECO and if you do not choose "partial capitalization" as processing type. This logic is irrespective of the fact that the final asset has been created or not.

Hi Sanaa,
We may achieve your requirement by configuring a user status for prohibiting creation of asset.
However, as explained by Paulo, users may set TECO status and create a final asset, then reset the status. Please explain the requirement/issue to be resolved so that we can check for alternatives.
Thanks,
Mamatha

Hi Sanaa,
I do not think that the timing is important here. If someone would like to bypass your logic can move into TECO, create a final asset, and next cancel TECO.
Try to reconsider your business requirement and explain the problem instead of your proposed solution.

Paulo
