hide iView in page via WDJava app

Hi,

I have a page with two iViews - 'running' & 'downtime'. The 'running' iview is set with the visible checkbox selected and downtime is without the visible check box selected.

I have an requirement to create an WD App to switch the iViews through the application. I.e. users will select enable which will set running iview to not be visible and downtime iview to be visible.

I have most of the code but I cant seem to the method that will allow me to change the visible property.

Thanks

Adnan

    Hi,

I think isn't possible, because the WD application is under iView, and other iView context is out of their visibility.

You can try to generate one WD application, with two views, and switch between they as your requeriment.

While I wrote this lines, I have one idea, you can try to sbscribe the WD app in iView 1 to portal event, and secon WD app in iView2 to another portal event. In thes way, you can control this events subscribing your 3rd WD app. I don't know if this is your solution, but is possible to work in portal.

    Hope it help
