Alert Configuration in HCI - PI

Dear Experts-

I am curious to understand alert configuration in HCI- PI. In one of the archived blog, it was mentioned that alert configuration can be performed in eclipse. I have checked the integration tool and did not find any information. It would be appreciated if someone can shed some light on this topic.

Hello Hari,

There is no standard alert framework like SAP PI available in SAP HCI.

Blog I have written will help you on usage exception subprocess which will help you to catch technical errors.

Sri-

Thanks for the quick response. This is a good information. I have a question in this regard, I think these alert configurations using subprocess can be used irrespective of scenarios or iflows as this is a separate process by its self. As this is not available in WEBUI but present in Eclipse. If I build exception process in eclipse and import export the project into WEB UI, will it be allow me to perform edit?

Please let me know.

Thanks

HS

Hello Hari,

Yes you are right this is not available in WEBUI and it restricts the edit option from WEBUI.

I guess SAP has a plan to bring this Exception Subprocess to WEBUI very soon.
