Hi Friends,
I am stuck with this issue. The issue is when I am trying to perform a automatic wave creation and assignment , the wave is not getting created. The warehouse request item reflects the correct WPT. When I tried to execute the PPF action, I am getting the error as "No valid completion date found for delivery xxxx item 10" . I have maintained the wave completion time as 23:59:59 in the wave template and the planned date and time in the warehouse request item is coming as 24.07.2015 00:00:00 . Waiting for your help. I have also attached the screenshot of the error.
Thank you.
Hello Nikita,
System somehow cannot read the Date/Time from your delivery.
Go to class /SCWM/CL_WAVE_PLAN and method ASSIGN_WHR_TO_WAVE and put your breakpoint at line 138.
There please find out what is going on.

Petr

Hi Petr,
Thanks for your response. I checked the code and I realized that the values for header date and time and item date and time are coming as zero. As I read, for ODO system adopts the goods issue start date as the wave completion date. I am not able to figure out what and where exactly this date is. I have attached a screenshot of what I understand this date is. Please suggest some steps to solve this. waiting for your response.
Thanks,
Nikita
Hi,
ok, you need to check the Date Profile assigned to your delivery type. According the documentation for the automatic wave creation:
"EWM determines the following times:
EWM determines the planned completion time of the warehouse request item and the wave completion time for each item or split item in a warehouse request that EWM has not yet assigned to a wave.
Planned completion time for warehouse request item
For stock removal, EWM uses the planned date and the planned time for Departure from Yard
.
If these dates are not available, EWM uses the dates for the goods issue start for outbound deliveries."
"Departure from yard" should be on your screenshot. This date is usually calculated from the planned goods issue date on the item. But if this is not there, the item date should be used. Seems in your case this is missing. Can you show the dates on item level?

HI Nikita,
Plz find the solution below:
1) If you check your ODO item you won't find the SGOODSISSUE and EGOODSISSUE in the Date/Time tab for item.
Reason: When you did mapping for your Date/Time in ERP integration node in EWM you would not have done the mapping for the same.
Solution: Plz add the entry as shown below @ spro>EWM>Interface>ERP Integration>Del processing>map Date/Time
After doing so, you will get those dates in ODR and ODO, thus your wave PPF will pick the dates too, enabling it to be in the wave.
Plz provide points when your issue is resolved.
Plz add an entry along with relevant Business System
WSHDRWADAT | ODO Doc Type | ODO Item Type | SGOODSISSUE | EGOODSISSUE | Do Not Confirm Date/Time |

Hi Nikita,
Can you share a screen shot of your wave template with your options of template & delivery date time (planning date and time)?

Hi Anoop,
Please find attached the screenshot for the wave template. I have created only one template option for this with all the planning time as 23:59:59 and the number of days is zero for all the columns. I am aiming for the situation where, when a ODO is distributed with EWM for a particular document type, it will be assigned to a wave automatically and released immediately. Waiting for your response.
Thanks,
Nikita
