Desecrate Manufacturing vs. Repetitive Manufacturing

Dear Expert.

Could you give light on WIP calculation in Desecrate Manufacturing vs. Repetitive Manufacturing.

In Desecrate Manufacturing (Product cost by Order).

Suppose we creating 100 No. of Order & we Confirm 90 No. then 10 No. (100-90) is our WIP it is calculating & it i understood, but

In Repetitive Manufacturing (Product cost by Period).

I can't understand WIP calculation, because there is no order in Repetitive Scenario. In Repetitive Scenario we run Product Cost Collector (KKF6N) & their after we confirm through MFBF.

Please tell the WIP calculation part with example.

    Hi Debasish

    1. In Discrete Manufacturing we are going by Prod Ord by lot and WIP is calculating based on actual cost posted in Order irrespective of delivery qty..if GR is not made total actual debit value will be WIP...if GR is made then difference of Actual Debit and credit will be WIP

    2. In Repetitive manufacturing WIP is calculated based in target cost of actual qty delivered ie on GR qty.. Target cost will be generated based on delivered difference between Actual debit and Target cost of delivery qty will be WIP
